How to Reach the Theatre
Due to our close proximity to Hollywood attractions, we recommend patrons give themselves extra driving time when attending a show at the Ford. Arrive early and picnic at the Ford!

From the South: Take 101 Freeway North, exit at Cahuenga Boulevard, turn right and follow Ford signs into the parking lot.
From the North: Take 101 Freeway South, take Exit 9C toward Highland Ave. Make an immediate left onto Pilgrimage Bridge (it comes up quickly). Go straight into the Ford Theatres north parking lot.
If you miss the turn, continue straight on Highland. Turn left on Odin St. and then left on Cahuenga Blvd. Follow the Ford signs into the parking lot.
Parking attendants will direct you.
To make your visit to the Ford as pleasant as possible, please plan for traffic in the Cahuenga Pass.
Parking at the Ford
Parking at the Ford Theatres is limited and stacked.
When your car is stacked parked, cars are parked in front of and behind you and you will not be able to leave until the event is over.
Parking rates (cash only):
- Ford Theatres 2019 Season evening shows - $12 (Carpool and save! Cars with three or more passengers receive a $5 discount.)
- Third-party Lease Events - $12
- Big World Fun family shows - $5
- JAM Sessions - Free
If planning to park onsite for an evening show, we recommend that you arrive early. If the lot is full when you arrive, you will be redirected to an off-site parking option (cost is $14) and free shuttle, see below.
Ride Share and Taxi
Ride Share to the Ford and save the hassle of parking. Drop off at the main parking lot entrance at the light on Cahuenga Blvd. East and Pilgrimage Bridge. The Ford recommends pick up at the same location as drop-off or, if heading south, further down Cahuenga Blvd. East.
Taxi drivers should be instructed to drop off at the main parking lot entrance at the light on Cahuenga Blvd. East and Pilgrimage Bridge. When you arrive, let a Guest Services staff member know you'll be calling a taxi at the end of the night and they will give you instructions on a safe place for pick-up.
Non-Stacked Off-Site Parking & Free Shuttle
Amphitheatre evening shows only. Excluding JAM Sessions, Big World Fun, and intimate On Stage or Zev Terrace events.
Pay at the garage. No reservations are required.

Picking up the Shuttle
Look for Ford Theatres signage. Shuttle picks up begin two hours before show time and run in 20-minute intervals. Shuttle pick-ups end approximately 30 minutes after show time. The shuttle does not run throughout the show. Riders can pick up the shuttle to return to the garage at the end of the night by the Ford Theatres front gates; Ford Guest Services staff will assist.
The shuttle and parking structure are wheelchair accessible.
Note, off-site parking is not available for Monday night JAM Sessions, Saturday morning Big World Fun events, or intimate evening events such as On Stage or Zev Terrace events (check the event page).
The Metro Red Line provides service between downtown Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, connecting Union Station, the Mid-Wilshire area, Hollywood and North Hollywood. Directions: Exit from the Universal City/Studio City Station. Take the free Ford shuttle to the theatre for evening performances. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner below:
Metro Shuttle Service (FREE)
Excluding JAM Sessions and Big World Fun events.
A free shuttle picks up from the Universal City/Studio City Metro Station (3913 Lankershim Blvd, Studio City 91604). Note, parking at the Metro lot is for Metro riders only. As of 2018, Metro has transitioned this to a paid lot. Click here for details.
The free shuttle picks up at the "kiss and ride" area starting two hours before show time and running in 20 minute intervals. Preshow shuttle pick-ups end approximately 30 minutes after show time. The shuttle does not run throughout the show. Riders can pick up the shuttle to return to the Metro stop at the end of the night by the front gates to the theatre; follow signs and guest services staff directions.
