Celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2020, the Ford Theatres complex is one of the oldest performing arts venues in Los Angeles still in use. The combination of the Ford's natural setting, intimate outdoor performance space and location in the midst of the County combine to give the Ford Theatres its distictive character and spirit. The Ford Theatres' season of music, dance, theatre, film, family and participatory arts events create opportunities for people to celebrate their own culture and to learn about and revel in the diverse cultures of this vast region.

Here at the Ford, we believe that the arts are a vital component of a healthy, thriving and inclusive community. In addition to presenting work that reflects the cultural and economic diversity of the region, Ford programs provide meaningful, engaging and joyful arts experiences; empower artists to tell their stories; and create a sense of belonging for everyone.

To further our mission, vision and values, we have embarked on two new initiatives: a Foster Youth Initiative and an Artist-in-Residence program. The Foster Youth Initiative addresses the needs of Los Angeles' foster youth - from young children to young adults - and their families by providing access to arts events, participatory arts experiences, job and internship opportunities, and more. The Artist-in-Residence program supports artistic innovation and creation by providing space and resources for the development of new work.

We are working to imagine and build our collective future, and we want you to be part of it. Your tax-deductible donation will go a long way towards supporting our growth and the growth of the artists we present. Please click below to make a gift to the Ford Theatre Foundation.
